Hello to the lovely person reading this ☺️ It's good to see you after a month away from this blog. A day later than anticipated - I've signed up to learn how to ride a unicycle on Sunday evenings, but I do intend to keep releasing a blog post on Sundays at 5.30pm.
February 1st marks the Chinese Lunar New Year aka Spring Festival, and this year is my year - year of the tiger! Roooooaaaaarrrrrrr! 🐯 Tigers are a bit beyond my crochet capabilities, so I decided to crochet some lantern keyrings:

Crocheted using a pattern by Abby Sy from Ollie and Holly, www.ollieandholly.com with many thanks!
These little lanterns are available to buy now, click here for further info, and please do keep them in mind if you're looking to give somebody - or yourself! - a small gift.
If you'd like to see a 1:37 time lapse video of one of these lanterns being made, please click here thank you 😎
My lovely friend Ms F, who you may remember gave me her sewing machine, gave me another wonderful gift: a set of crochet hooks and an embroidery kit with skeins in beautiful shades of pink. There was only one thing I wanted to do with the threads...

I'll be making quite a few more of these, along with a few more lanterns.
Thank you so much for reading, please forward this post on to any friends or family you think would enjoy it.
Until Sunday,
Lingling
PS. I've been to unicycle practice twice. The first time was 2 hours of falling off. Last night some progress was made (clinging onto the side rail!).
